On June 6, 2026, The Southern Museum, in partnership with The Smithsonian Institution, will be celebrating 250 years of American history. This program includes a special speaking event by Ryan Lintelman, the Entertainment Curator at The National Museum of American History. Lintelman’s talk will highlight the significance of the black and white film, The General, featuring Buster Keaton. His presentation will be immediately followed by a special showing of the movie in our theater.
